How do we maintain cleanliness in the studio?
Under the NSW Government checklist, Vintage Fitness will ensure any areas frequented by staff or clients are cleaned at least daily with detergent and/or disinfectant.
The Vintage Fitness team undertakes frequent cleaning and disinfection of everything. This includes equipment that may be used in classes. We also regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces.
Frequently touched areas and surfaces are cleaned several times per day with a detergent or disinfectant solution or wipe (including EFTPOS equipment, handrails, tables, countertops, doorknobs and sinks). There is a cleaning checklist maintained showing the studio and class locations are being cleaned regularly.
Any surfaces touched by clients are cleaned with a detergent or disinfectant solution between each client.
You should observe this cleaning routine occurring. Please voice your concerns or leave the premises or class if you do not see this taking place.
Trainers will reduce the sharing of equipment where practical and ensure the equipment is cleaned with detergent and disinfectant between use.
While Vintage Fitness is playing its part in making our environment COVID-safe, it is also up to each individual to take responsibility for their own health and safety. The best strategy is to clean the equipment for yourself before and after you use it with disinfectant wipes or detergent.
Vintage Fitness will make cleaning wipes and gloves accessible for visitors to use, should you wish to use them.
